Benefits of Practice 

Mindfulness refers to training in which one learns to live more consciously in the present moment. It is a form of meditation, in which one becomes aware of the physical and mental sensation and situation of the moment in a non-reactive manner.

Mental and spiritual healing

 Through the exploration and development of your own practice one can experience a multitude of benefits including (but not limited to):

  • Improved response to stress, therefore better able to deal with stressful situations
  • Improved concentration and performance
  • Increased feelings of relaxation
  • Improved relation to self
  • Reduction of fear and anxiety
  • Reduction of feelings of depression
  • Improved sleep quality

Training in mindfulness, one learns to live with their own human condition, including joy and sorrow, irritation, impatience, frustration, and anger. Through mindfulness one learns how to cope with everything that leads to unrest.
